Default No Air Blowing

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand and there is no air blowing out. I think the ac portion is still working because when the cold air is on I can put my hand up to the vent and feel cold but it just is not blowing out of the vents. Can anyone help?

Well you could have a few problems that may cause this. 1st to check is the blower fuse and relay which you can locate by looking at your owners manual. If good the next step I would take is to check the connection at the blower motor itself. If all the connections are good. you either have a bad blower resistor, bad blower motor, and or a bad fuse or relay. I realize this doesn't help you exactly, but it give you a few places to start.

This may or may not apply to your Grand Cherokee (WJ). http://www.wjjeeps.com/blower_motor.htm

It has to be the blower motor. I pulled it out and it was not turning on. I checked the connection and it seemed good. I ordered a new one so we will see what happens.

Thanks!

Did you read this? >-> http://www.wjjeeps.com/blower_motor.htm
Read the whole thing. Your problem is fairly common on the WJ's.

Hey, did u ever figure out your problem with your air problem? I have a 2006 Jeep Cherokee and the fan was making this loud noise when I turned it on for about 30 seconds and then it would get quiet, and it would still run after it got quiet. However, the air no longer blows at all. Help!!

Default 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee not blowing air

I have finally fixed my no air blowing problem. There is a blend door that you can only see if you remove the blower motor. When I removed the blower motor I saw that the blend door had broke and completely sealed off everything to where no air was being blown. I hope this helps someone out.
