Default Paint pro comp wheels

I ordered a set of flat black pro comp wheels. They are powder coated flat back. I want to paint them bronze. Do I need to sand down the flat black or will the flat black work as a good base primer for the bronze?

No.

Have them powder coated whatever color you want.

You're going to put bronze wheels on a black Jeep? :/

It does seem a little 1980s Trans Am, but it would be unique for a Jeep!

I need to figure out if I can sand down the powder coat or what the easiest way to paint these are. Getting them re powder coated is not a option. I don't have a problem sanding them down priming them and spraying them. Duplicolor makes a bronze spray paint just for wheels. Any suggestions on what sand paper grits to use do I need to take the powder coat all the way off or just scuff it up so the primer can stick to it?
