Can you make it go back past the rear taillights so they can protect them?

Here's one side of mine done I love these and would be nice if they were a lil longer to protect headlight

I need a set of these. I'd just have to straighten my quarters tho before I could even mount them. Haha. But I'd really like a. Set that covers the tail light or has boxes built in. I've been through like 10 sets of tail lights in a year.

They are both pretty close to the same size. 10 gauge is 0.1345. An 1/8" is 0.125.
