i was thinking about adding a hoop... there are companies that sell pre-bent hoops for like $50 on the net... ive seen them... was thinking about buying one and welding it on myself as a light bar...

If you are gonna have a hitch on the rear bumper you really should fab in a way to use the Nut Strips. I do not for see the 8 bolts being sturdy enough for a recovery.

The company is a very well respected bumper maker in the MidWest. If you own a jeep you have probably heard of them. JCR offroad.

If you look at this installation you will see Unibody Tie ins like you have for the front. It is very important in the rear also as you do not want a flying hunk of steel with your name on it in a recovery.

http://jcroffroad.com/install_guides/XJRearBumper.pdf

I am not trying to be an *** but I would highly reccoment tieing in the rear bumper better if you are going to allow it to be used in recovery operations.

If not I would put an advisory saying not to be used in towing or recovery operations warning sticker on your bumper.

Hope to see more from ya later.

or like when i built my old bumper i cut the hole larger to slide 2x4 box steel inside the frame rails... drilled and tapped the holes where the old hitch used to bolt through... strong as a hitch... and i was able to build the bumper right up against the body and didnt have to worry about trying to get to the bolts behind it... worked great... not to mention how much it stiffened out... just an idea... when i get back to the cherokee build and if your still cookin these things up ill be buying another front from ya more then likely... but i got a chop top so the rear bumper would look funny sticking out lol... this is why i sold mine off... gonna have to make my own again...

Still witing for pics of the non-winch bumper from different angles. I need to see how far it sits from the grill, the side wrap and so on.
Thanks

Wow. I really like the style you did for huntingman! Killer work! One of these days when I have the cash around I might just be looking into getting one.

Keep up the good work!
