How do you stop an XJ with no brakes on a very long & very steep hill decent? Crash that thing into a tree at full steam ahead!!
Here are some shots you asked for Leonard. Like I said, I was hauling tail, trying to stop the thing from going end over end, and a decent sized tree ended up catching me at the bottom.
Heres a picture someone else took as the entire thing came to an end -
And heres how the L&L bumper took it. Roughly 15mph if I had to guess, but swerving my entire way down the hill almost rolling twice. Best day of wheeling ever. Total damage -
Without this bumper, this totally would have resulted in my hood & fender becoming one, and my radiator getting half the motor pushed through it. Would have been a total game ender, but the L&L bumper saved the day... and my ****!

how do you think I know when it was supposed to ship if I wasnt emailing him? Im not sure what deal youve got going but seriously the sack riding is sad. I am as excited as any to get my bumper and Im sure it will be great, but its a little bothersome that I ordered a bumper in May and its still not here
potential buyers who are reading this thread might want to hear that they need to be prepared to wait 10 weeks for a bumper. considering youve already got a bumper, im not sure why you are even visiting this thread besides just to sack ride a little more

Thats about average IMHO. I ordered the beginning of February, and received it mid-May. Remember, this isn't a full blown corporation with a shipping department, it's one guy who makes them out of his workshop in his spare time.

is a rear bumper with a tireholder/stinger plausible? I've seen them, I don't have a welder or a pipe bender. Looking for someone who makes these.
