I know this. however, because this is the case, there are some things that should be done

1) dont tell people the production time is 3-4 weeks when its really 3-4 months
2) either get some help or dont take so many orders. Being constantly drowning in the work you have to do is BAD for the company.
3) tell people their bumpers are shipping when they actually do, not that they are shipping when in fact they are not

I totally get the small company thing and that he is probably not a business person and thats why I have been waiting patiently. I actually didnt care until I was told to expect shipping and it didnt happen. No worries though, its shipping today he says

Right on brother! I was saying this a few pages back and whats his nuts was all up on mine.. Like dude are you a employee of landl? If not then dont address his customers, if you are then you need some hella cutomer service trainning.. Communication is key, and delivering a product when its said to be done helps as well. Life happens tools break.. Its all good..

Enough of the bickering. If you have an issue, take it to PMs.

And if your not a moderator, quit trying to be one. Everyone belongs here to an extent, leave off that sort of attitude. If you have an issue with someone or their post, report it.

Well I won't be getting my sliders until atleast next week. Even if Chris could get them sent out tomorrow they wouldn't make it here by Friday and Fedex doesn't deliver to residential addresses on weekends. Then once I get them I have to wait until I can scrape up a couple bucks for some paint/hardware and some decent weather since I don't have a garage with a tall enough door to fit my Jeep. Luckily though, seeing the sliders in my garage every day will make me do almost anything to get the supplies and get them installed, so it shouldn't take too long after I get 'em. Hardware shouldn't be too difficult to figure out..... Just add the thickness of the unibody rail, the thickness of the metal used on the mount, the thickness of the nut and any washers used, and a quarter inch of extra threads. Just plain old Grade 8 hex bolts/nuts should do the trick =)

Home depot probably won't have the ones you need (I work there... Most Home Depots don't, but some locations do carry them in those sizes) so you might need to find a local hardware store to get them.

Looks like a pretty good write-up for someone who doesn't know how to install sliders. The bolt sizes don't help much though because they don't give lengths. I would also HIGHLY recommend against using self tapping bolts... They just become a pain in the rear to get started when they're that large. I would much rather just use hardware that goes straight through the unibody rail. Just my $0.02

The regular winch bumper he sells is only like 60lbs..... Not as heavy as most think. They do look pretty sweet though. We'll see what Chris has to say. =)
