I like the flares and have two questions: Can they be painted and do I have to trim the the sheet metal for them to work?

Are those trimming add-on or standard.

I'm trying to find pics of the flares without the trimming in textured finish.

Thx.

Mikefrost, The 2 door V2 Fender Flares are available on our website. The final fit is still being fine tuned so if you're interested then PM or email for more info.
--------------------
Gettin Dirty, the fender flares are paintable and sheet metal must be removed.
--------------------
Botak, here's some pics of the black textured fender flares with no edge trim. This is on our test XJ which is beat to pieces and the fender flares weren't fit real tight. It takes a little longer to install without the edge trim but IMPO it actually looks better. The edge trim is standard and is included with the fender flare package.

Default NPx Impact video

Thought you guys might like to see our first attempt at a video. Even before we were done we were already talking about ways to improve and new ideas.

* The edge of the fender flares were scuffed up some but most of it just wiped right off.
* "No trees were harmed in the making of this video." hahaha
* We had permission from the farmer that owns the land. This area was being cleared so the tree was being removed.

Had fun doing this so we'll certainly do another video before too long!

I am willing to add longer bumpstops to my XJ(and need to), but heres my question. Is the opening of the flare large enough to stuff in a 35x12.50 tire? My goal is 4"-5" lift, with flares, and run 35x12.50 tires

My personal XJ runs around 5" of lift. It started with RE 3.5" Super Flex then was modified with spacers up front & extended shackles out back. I've run a borrowed set of 34" Super Swampers on it with no bump stops at all. The back was fine. The fronts hit hard at full stuff and definitely needed bump stops. Obviously, pushing a tire to full stuff in an off road setting is well beyond what some people do with their XJs.

These are the best pictures I have of my XJ flexing with the 34s on it. (click for larger image)

Here's a link to the Napier Precision - V2 Fender Flares - Photobucket Album that contains most of the pictures we get. None have tire specs.

Also, our FaceBook page has some XJs on 35s including the cover of Brett's XJ in Australia then down the page a bit, Taylor sent us pics of his XJ on 35s. Linked below.

Shipping and handling within most of the USA is usually not bad.
Most people ask for USPS Parcel Post which usually takes around 6-10 days shipping time.
Parcel Post to most of the USA typically runs less than $40, more often around $25-30.

the thing that stops me from buying bushwackers(before i knew about these
) is that if u break one you have to buy 4 new ones to replace it.

Are yours available in singles?
