Flowmasters sound like garbage on inline motors (speaking from experience). The magnaflow kit sounds and performs excellant and fits great. I didn't have any issues getting it to line up.


FYI... I've tried 14 different exhaust setups on my rig. This is definitely the best I've had.

No problem, glad I could help. I hope you enjoy your exhaust system as much as i enjoy mine.

FYI, it will be pretty quiet until you get 200 or so miles on it. Once you get it all broken in you will start hearing that sweet tone of the magnaflow muffler. The best part is, it's never loud, just sounds good.

sounds like garbage? what does garbage sound like? You have an opinion and i have mine, i like the way the flowmaster sounds, i like it loud. i've heard the magnaflow and it sounds a little too quiet for my own taste. just my opinion.

I just want a nice medium and something i can gain a little power and better mpg for a good cost. Im liking that magnaflow the best so far for the price and the set up seems like a great deal. Just ordered post pics next weekend. Thanks for info

If you like raspy exhaust, than a flowmaster on an inline motor is a fine setup. I personally enjoy a mellow deep tone when it comes to exhaust.
