I personally wouldn't do that on any vehicles. And oh ok. Then I'd say go with that and don't do it. I don't know to much about manifolds ik how they work.

Port work is a great way to add power normally. Not sure how a better flowing intake manifold makes less power on a Jeep but I'm not concerned enough to try and figure it out either.

Well ik there is a max airflow that can go in. No matter the size of the manifold there is only so much that can be sucked in. That's where forced induction comes in. So maybe the manifold is already ported from the line and is the best it can be for the engine.

If the intake mani hurts, it just means something else is the bottleneck.
