Just in case you can't find the parts at O'Reillys.
You are looking for fittings with a 1/8"-27 NPT thread.

Thread Sealant Part # BK 765-1155

I buy most of my parts at Napa. Maybe cause I work there. LOL.
But despite the amount of Weatherhead fittings we have we did not have what I needed.
So I had to go buy them at O'Reillys. Which means I had to pay more.
I don't like paying more. LOL
But that is why I bought the thread sealant at Napa.
EDIT: There are couple things that did occur to me when I did this. I like to try and think things through.
I don't see it as a problem but since that oil sensor is sticking out more less room to get at the filter.
Also I know I am going to have to be a little more careful to not whack that set up when I do.
I use a filter removal cap. I am older and have a tendency to slip here and there.
Will find out for sure come April when I do my semi annual oil change.

Hey sorry to hijack but what triggers the check gauge light for low oil pressure? My 2000 always ..well since I bought it...comes on once pressure goes to 20psi on a hot idle.I have replaced sending unit with a Mopar one and replaced the wiring connector also using my mechanical gauge it also reads the same. Does it come from the gauge reading or sending unit.
