I had a tps & iac code a few days ago. Replaced both with new ones but still nothing. Light was there with the codes. Doubled checked and it was one of the wires that goes in the tps socket that wasnt going in all the way into the tps. Fixed it with a tiny flat head driver to make the wire entry bigger. Haven't had any problems since then. The codes went away. I was also having high idel and stalling issues.

Did you test the alternator?
*I had a bad alternator. Tested battery at advance but they failed to mention the alternator was crap. Rough idle / no start (unless pedal) in my case was combo of bad alt and loose spark plug thanks to dealer visit

Replaced throttle position sensor with a mopar one
And changed spark plugs to copper from double platinums that over time cause misfires on jeeps according to a mechanic that works on mainly XJs and ran into this same problem alot
Seems like it was a combo of the three that made it inconsistent
