02 sensors and computer question
I have a 2000 jeep, Cherokee sport, last week, the wiring harness on my rear O2 sensor, got tangled with the driveshaft and ripped the wires off the O2 sensor. I replaced the O2 sensor. However, the front O2 sensor was also damaged apparently. At the replacing both O2 sensors, they both are now arguing with each other this suggests to me that it may have also shorted out the computer. How would you approach this situation? Do I order a new computer and leave the O2 sensors in or do I replace everything at the same time?

1)as above check all the wiring
2) you replaced both O2 sensors with what brand?
3) what does it mean that the sensors are arguing with each other????
4) I would guess that the ecu is fine. Replacing both the sensors, again, and the ECU gets the parts cannon award of the week
