Yeah, it really doesnt seem like a bad deal. I talked to a guy on the phone and he said itd be a little over $200 for shipping, I cant remember the exact number. The core is $200 and the shipping back is paid by them...IF I decided to send it back and not build the stroker.

I did check the crank, and that #1 journal is way out. It would probably have to be turned over more than .030 and I havent seen bearings oversized more than .030.

I would jump on a used motor if I could find one for the right price, or if I could find one at all. I live in a really small area, and there ain't crap around here. I found one motor on CL for $200, but it has to be rebuilt, so that just puts me back in the same boat. In my area, you just gotta know somebody that knows somebody. Plus, I like the peace of mind that comes with a "new" motor and a warranty


I wanted to go with ATK, since Ive heard good things about them. But the funds arent available to me right now to shell out another $700 more than this one costs. And this is a right now sort of thing haha.

Maybe tell them they have a deal if they don't charge you shipping you don't use. Boy, that crank sounds worthy of a Pic! Good luck..
