I also need to correct myself he never said it got to 210 he was at 190 when he hooked the fan up and the temp went down on the cluster. after it running for 30 min it never even got above 200.
the gurgling was when I had ran it after doing the t-stat *(and i had ran it when the housing off so I probably pumped more out) after I ran it up to temp that time is when it was trying to push air into the overflow from the rad so that was normal.
looking like it may just be a wacky gauge afterall and I just never got it hot enough to kick the fans in. although they aren't coming on with my a/c anyways BUT neither is my a/c so I need to check my fuses on that *(relay is good)
right now (well tomorrow) I'm just going to focus on getting the clutch in the ignition in and then just see what it does. Idk where to begin on the gauge since I suck at wiring so bad
... and again I thank you for the patience you have had with me lol..

a few different times. when I first got it it had issues starting (starter was good and messing with the shifter did nothing) I messed with wiggling the key and it started up.. and has not failed me at all but the P/o complained about it and when it was at the car lot it wouldn't start for anyone.
apparently it chose me... Lol.. I just messed with the key and it worked.. and actually has not failed to start ever since.. yet the buzzer will randomly change tones and sometimes randomly go off (as it it will quit buzzing when it should be buzzing) . They bought me a new switch when I got the jeep and I'm going to go ahead and put it in.

is this where you tell me a faulty ignition can keep the a/c and fan from working lol..
ok I never get that lucky but I did actually ask that ask that
this is when the truck had been running at idle for about 15 minutes not even fully warmed up yet look at what the gauge is reading.. thats a bit of a difference...
after sitting longer the needle was halfway to the next mark yet the IT temp never went above 200 it almost seems like my temp gauge is reading high (as is my speedo which is about 8mph too fast with stock tires.

would a faulty ignition cause it? it did have random no-crank issues that was due to the ignition.. i jiggled the ignition and have had no starting issues at all.

I could see ignition switch causing no power to thing like ac but its usualy more than on specific thing .And temp gauge works with grounds not current the hotter the sensor the better the ground causing gauge to rise. You've all ready replaced the cts correct ? Not sure if 96 has the temp sender separate from sensor it would be located on drivers side back of cylinder head .
