1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo Back Plate

If your rear axle is the original -88 D35 you not have any c-clips.
Just loosen the nuts on the backing plate and slide the the axle out sometimes it need a little pulling to get it out. So no need to take out any c-clips because there is no it the axle.
If they have put in an newer D35 ( -90 and up ) then you have to take out the c-clips.

The backing plate is in place the jeep is back on the road, and now all I need is to get the brakes set up.
