1990 Cherokee Laredo won’t stay running
My jeep will start And run smoothly but only for so long. It varies and it doesn’t matter if your driving or just idling in park. You may be able to drive for a good ways or idle for twenty minutes or more but then it dies and won’t restart until it’s good and ready and that time varies as well. I am guessing electrical maybe? Has anyone else ran into this?

Could also be cam sensor, it’s located inside the distributor. I believe stores call it the ignition pickup. I would also test for fuel pressure, I’ve had an instance where the Jeep would run fine..then randomly cut out. It turned out to be the fuel pump. But I would test pressure first. Good luck

Absolutely CANNOT be a cam sensor. It's not equipped with one.

No, it is NOT!!!
The thing inside a Renix dizzy is a sync generator for the injectors. It will run fine with it unplugged.

YES it is, call it which ever name you prefer but It literally does the same thing! And No, it will NOT run fine if you unplug it, I’ve seen it cause this type of issue before.

Put your money where your mouth is. a RENIX is different.
If I show you that a Renix Jeep 4.0 will run with the sync generator unplugged, you must PayPal me $100.
I can prove it with a wiring diagram. Same deal. $100.

There is no back and forth. There's truth and misconception. I can prove the truth. Chicken. Yes, you saw an HO system and don't realize it.
Let's get back to the wager. If you're 100% sure I'm wrong, prove it and I'll send you $100. How hard is that?

I need some mad money for my newest Alfa Romeo project.
Anyone else up for the wager?
I need 5 or 6 people to take the monetary challenge.

I've already suggested doing Tips 1,3,4, and 5 at www.cruiser54.com. Have you?
Ever tested the fuel pressure or bypassed the fuel pump ballast resistor. All easy stuff. We can do this.
