1990 low idle
We have a 90 XJ that my stepson drives. He says he's getting low idle/dying. I'm thinking of replacing all the vacuum lines to start cause they're pretty beat up and pulling plugs, wires and all the usual stuff but anyone have any additional ideas on causes or easy changes to help?

Clean the throttle body. Remove the idle air controller from the throttle body and clean the tip and the passages in the throttle body as well. Cruiser has a nice writeup at http://cruiser54.com/?p=60. I also highly recommend perusing his other tips, especially the ones about cleaning the connectors and grounds http://cruiser54.com/.
