The wipers were running slow so I cleaned out the old "grease" - more like dried caulk. I jumpered the motor and runs fine, however it needs new brushes. Has anyone replaced the brushes on this era motor and where did you get them ?

THANKS

I don't know about that. Maybe a generator/alternator rebuilding shop locally? I'm sure they'd need a sample.

Here's something that may help. It did on 3 of my Jeeps. Ground the motor right on the cowl.

Found something new to me in one of my 90's. Wipers were screwing up or just not working. Heard a buzzing, then found a relay. Under the dash, sort of over my left knee. Cleaned contacts, and problem solved.

Cool. The Perm. Magnet generator for my micro-hydro ran 24/7 all winter. I wish I'd known of them back then before I went "brushless"
