Lubardi

I have a 1992 jeep xj Cherokee with the AW4 automatic transmission. I have recently done a transfer case swap on it and I swapped the stock np231 for a np231 that came out of a 98 xj and after putting it in and taking it for a spin i realized that the transmission was not shifting out of first gear. I took the transmission control unit fuse out and i can shift it manually so it has to be something electrical. than i got up under it and discovered the wires and plug hanging down (as pictured) so Does anybody happen to know what these wires are and what they go to and where they connect to because i am lost they are both hanging down in the same spot (right in front of the cross member towards the front of the jeep). the wire with the round thing at the end had a little glass piece in it. and the other one is a 2 prong female plug connector. if anyone can identify them and tell me where they go and connect that would much appreciated thank you so much.
