This is the part where I wish I owned an oscilloscope.. It is very possible my CKS is not producing the proper pulses or wave lengths. Right now I have a Cardone distributor and I installed a different aftermarket one during my test that had the removable style sync sensor and that didn't seem to fix anything. However I do wonder if changing the swappable sync sensor out for a more reputable brand would make everything happy. I might purchase an oscilloscope before any further investigation, because you bring up a great point. Also quick question, does a 92 have an ASD relay? Been hearing people telling me to check that out as well
Can you generate any trouble codes?
Do you have an FSM? Handy for wiring schematics.
Entry level oscilloscope about $110.
I got it. It works. Add-ons like current clamp and attenuators will run the cost up a little.

With the engine running and the fuel pressure gauge attached to the test port on the rail record your fuel pressure. Disconnect the vac line to the regulator and record your fuel pressure.

58psi of fuel pressure is high. 80% or greater TPS angle while cranking is the clear flood command. Injector pulse is completely cut while maximum air is introduced to the engine. While doing the engine swap did you kink or crush the fuel return line?

disconnect your coolant temp sensor, all these motors are very influenced by coolant temp from the sender in the thermostat. If reading cold , enriches mixture...if hot it leans out mix...if disconnected goes to an intermediate failsafe...you cant read it without an obd 2 which you dont have

these were my readings on a scope... the blue wave is CH2 the CPS just kind of went up and down, the CKPS created the wave shown.
