Are the spark plugs getting wet at all? Is it "popping" or acting like it wants to start?

I guess I'd do a fuel pressure test. Double-check the timing. Do a search and find out what **Doesn't** usually happen when the CPS goes bad (fuel or spark). Maybe the one you replaced has flaked out. As I suggested, remove the batt cables and hold together to reset the ECM. Go back to the mechanic and asked what he did with the relay ...and why? Did you check the fuses, and the big fuses ...if there are any.. Did you check for 'codes' yet?

I don't know this, but will a bad knock sensor cause a no-start? I doubt it ..but.

it's not throwing any codes or check engine light after turning the key 6 times and then the check engine light blinks a bunch it just goes off. also i just noticed a whining sound from behind the dash. VERY faint, and it only happens after i turn the key a few times. also after i turn the key twice the fuel pump didn't go on like it "normally" would? maybe its primed and doesn't need to go anymore, but the last 4 turns it didn't go on.

I did check the fuses. all of them are good. also i changed out the fuel relay for a different relay (ac relay) and no difference.

no popping or acting like it wants to start unless i mash the gas pedal. yes the spark plugs are getting wet. after i try and start it i pulled a plug and saw that it was wet, and also maybe kind of oily?

i'm wondering if its the main computer wouldn't it have no fuel or spark, or could it only effect the fuel somehow?

Jeeez. Let's see. You have compression, spark ...and presumably fuel, right?. So, why isn't it at least popping?? Dribble a little fuel down the throttle body and see what happens. It should at least 'pop'.
After you check your fuel pressure, I would quadruple-check the timing if it were me.

I wouldn't suspect the computer yet, but wouldn't hurt to wiggle the connections. Have you thoroughly cleaned the engine and body grounds to make sure the grounds are good w/o a doubt?

What happens if the oil pressure sensor is sending a signal that it's all the way max? would that cause my issue?

it's really oily underneath from the arm that connects the oil filter to the motor has a gasket leak. if i pressure wash it underneath there is there anything i should watch out for? i'm gonna do that tomorrow, and see if there is some oil pressure sensor that is broken somehow.

Not really. I would avoid getting greasy water on the rotors or spraying pressurized water in/on the driveshaft slip yoke.

I don't know the answer to the oil pressure sensor questions, other than I *doubt* an oil pressure faulty reading would cause it not to start. Doesn't make any sense. But I can't say with 100% certainty.

Yeah, give it a shot (ignition sw). Might as well get an oil pressure sw. too. They're only a few bucks as I recall.

I'm about out of ideas, so hope it works!!

I changed the oil pressure sensor already. its still reading max whenever i turn the key to the on position meaning somethings fishy there. anyone have any ideas why this could happen? the car is off, but the key is in the on position, and its reading max oil pressure. Obviously this is the source of my issue of crank, but no start.

please help!
