yeah hate jumping into somebody else's mess. I would say to just run all new wires, but i think to do that you would have to take down the headliner...which in the process of doing you would probably mess it up

Well good news anyway, I found the blown fuse. What do you mean by the headliner anyway? Sorry don't know much about this kind of stuff but i'm only 18 and learn fast.

well i havent traced them, but i think the wires to the speakers in the sound bar run above the headliner (fabric attached to board attached to your roof) The headliner is a solid piece of board like material covered with foam backed fabric. You may have already knew that, just making sure Glad you found the fuse, which one was it? Im only 18 myself but i started REALLY young, like 11 young lol. And i really would consider putting the radio and stuff in yourself. The more you can do, the less you have to pay others to do.

it may have been bridged, or maybe they just doubled up on the speakers, plugging 2 up where 1 would normally go

Do yourself a favor, run all new wire for everything. Head unit, amp, and speakers. That way you know what you have. It took me two days to install mine. But I have 2 1' tweeters in dash, 2 5-1/4"s (three way) in front doors, 2 6x9's (three way) in rear hatch, 1 10" sub in rear passenger pocket. A 1400 watt Pyle amp (5 Channel) under the rear seat. So that's 250w to the four corner speakers, and 400w to the sub. Speakers are all Rockford. All looks like factory install. And sounds like a concert hall. Get rid of the sound bar. Most headliners need to be redone anyways. Why would you want mid ranges pointed at the floor. Everything but the sub are directional speakers.

I may be off base here but I am going to guess they left you the amp but took the speakers that the amp was running. They probably had a speaker box running subs in the trunk. Your sound bar may be disconnected because they ran the rear speakers to the amp instead of using RCA plugs. Can you post a picture of the amp connected? If the red light on the amp does not come on then yea it probably fried. Smell it near the vents and see if it smells like burnt metal. If is smells then its fried. BTW... when you are messing with any amp or stereo you should disconnect the battery first.... Do not mess with any power or ground leads until you have disconnected that battery.

Ok guys thanks for all your help. I actually got it working. I ran wire up to the sound bar and plugged it into that, and unplugged the front speakers because there wasn't enough space left on the amp. And i'm guessing its not good to plug two wires into the same socket. Anyway it sounds better now. I'm sure if I got a new amp and a sub it could sound a lot better but i'm fine for right now.
What do you mean by that?

there should be one to two fused in the amp itslelf, but it would still get power if you blew those. if it was installed correctly then it should have an inline fuse to the battery, that is probably your culprit

doubling up on the sockets is fine, just plug em in by that i meant it would be worth it to run new wires, but not necessary. I wanted to run all new wires to my speakers, but i was too lazy so i still have the stock wiring. Again, the only reason you would HAVE to run new wires is if you're having problems with missing/wrong wires.....like me. I have wires behind my radio that with my knowledge to this day I have no idea what or were they come from.
