Default 1996 Cherokee: do I need inner tie rod tool?

I need to replace all my tie rod ends, and when I was on rockauto estimating the price, the site asked me if I want an "inner tie rod tool" to remove the inner tie rod. I'm confused cause I never heard of this thing when other people talk about what they needs when doing the job. So,will I need this thing?

Yes, it will make the job easier. Don't forget to remove the castle nut, before you begin hammering on the tool.

I followed this video. I'm sure it can be done without the tool, but I also used it to replace my steering stabilizer and to help remove a shackle bolt that was stuck near the end.
