Default 1996 jeep Cherokee sport

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee sport that will not run. It has all new parts alternator starter crankshaft position sensor camshaft position sensor new battery I mean I have completely went through it. It will run but once it once you cut it off, it will not crank back up. You have to keep messing and messing and messing in. Eventually, it will crank. It’s got new plugs. All fuses and relays look good did a 5 volt ref good new pcm new fuel pump fuel pressure is good checked neutral safety switch is good but I’m having problems with voltage going to ignition coil ignition coil is new

You say it will not crank. That means it will not turn over the engine at all ?

No 12V at ignition coil

If the above is correct, I would check whether the ignition switch is supplying 12V to the coil circuitry and elsewhere

Do the ASD and Fuel pump relays click in when ignition is switched to "On" ?...the starter relay ?

Do you have access to the 96 FSM (95 is helpful) to diagnose the problem ?

If you in fact have a "cranks but no start" thats different to a "no crank"

If the NSS switch is just a bit out, if you jiggle the auto lever in Park or Neutral, and it fires up, that is a very common problem

If your voltage at the coil is unclear, you will need to go look "upstream". Agree with awg- and test systematically.
