I am having a major problem trying to find the right u joints for the front axles on my 97. At this point I am starting to think I do not have a stock axle on this jeep. It looks like a dana 30 but not a single u-joint has fit my axles. One came with the jeep when I bought it but of ****ing course I lost it apparently. Or one of my lovely family members misplaced it.

Regardless I've been to autozone about 6 times and every single u joint is wrong. It's either way too big or the last set I just got seemed to be the same diameter but are too tall. This is pretty infuriating at this point. I am bout to just buy new axles.

Parts counter jockeys aint what they used to be. Then too you might have aftermarket upgrade axles. In either case don't give up yet.

I found some that fit, unfortunately they are duralasts, I had ordered 2 spicer joints from autozone and was extremely disappointed when I saw they didnt fit. My Jeep seems to have the old axle's with the smaller ujoints which is why nobody can figure anything out. It doesn't have ABS either. I bought it with work done to it so who the hell knows. Axles are fixed up, did the seals in the diff, just gotta put everything back together now. Definitely giving this beat mud truck some love.
