Engine: 6cyl, 4.0L
1997 XJ Cherokee Country - Hesitation - fuel system?
When my Jeep shifts into 3rd gear (42 mph) it hesitates (rides rough), like going over potholes in the road. At 50 mph the hesitation stops. Also, at idle, the Jeep idles up and down like it is not getting fuel.
Once the Jeep is warmed up (about 5 miles) the hesitations stop and the ride is smooth. Is this a fuel pump or injector issue or something else?
