Easy you either crawl under there and look at the tag on the case, it will either say 231 or 242. Or you just look at your t case bezel on the console and if its full time its the 242 or if not its the 231

Only stock front axle was the dana 30, but there were low-pinion and high-pinion variants, check to see if the yoke is at the top or lower part of the differential and you will know which variant you have
