I use push pins into connectors. Gator clips help:

See if there's power coming out of the PCM C1 A17. Or if camshaft position sensor has power.
Ok.. so I pulled the plastic cover off the wires at the PCM connectors A and C.... I found the A17 (orange wire)... with the key on, multi meter showed 5.13v (set at 20v setting on the multi meter). I could not find the DB/OR wired for C1.

I found out that my test lead wire to ground was not good... thus the multimeter was not reading correctly... I have now fixed my ground issue and see that there is actually just over 5v going to the sensor(s).

Update: got her started!! yea!!! It was the fuel pump gone bad. Had to clean out the fuel tank too... so much sandy/silty stuff and chunks of debris like some plastic broken pieces. Plus, I purged the line / connection at the fuel rail, as I did not want the nasty stuff that may have been in the fuel line getting clogged up in the injectors. Good thing I did that cuz some crap came out of there too. Now running on fresh clean gas.

Also, sounds like the distributor is chirping down inside... maybe a bearing needs some grease???
