1999 Cherokee XJ 4.0L Engine
My XJ is a 5-spd manual; does that have any impact when replacing the 4.0L engine?
Thanks / appreciate.

I recall the pilot bearing/bushing changed at some point (91?), but I think it was the was the tip of the AX-15 input shaft that changed and not the crank bore. Either way, verify it has a new, correct size pilot bearing when you re-assemble.
