1999 overheating problem

Test and diagnose, don't start throwing parts at it.
Get a test kit for exhaust gasses in the coolant. Then you will know if it's a cracked head or not.
If not, next try a free fix. Dump some liquid laundry detergent or Dawn dishwashing liquid in your radiator, and run it like that for a week. Then flush it again.
Last stop is replacing parts.

In response to the radiator being 2 years old:
If you had gunk/brownish crud that went through the radiator, it could be 2 days old and still get crud blocking the passages.I would disconnect the upper and lower hoses and use a garden hose to flush it at each point (cap, upper hose, lower hose) similar to the fore and back-flush on a heater core.Even better, pull it out and flip it so you can run the hose+gravity.Mark made an excellent point about testing for a cracked head, I'd do the test kit before screwing around with the flushing/radiator.

Radiator was cleaned, and pressure tested. Checked out good. Cracked head is The only thing it could be, right? Guess I’ll tear it back apart, have it tested. Also does anyone know where to buy front end parts?

I myself like Advanced Auto Parts, Napa or Ebay in that order. Advanced steering components are Moog which imho are one of the best manufactures when it comes to ball joints, tie rods etc. Napa parts are good but the warranty is a pain in the butt from my experience, Ebay is good if you can wait.

Unless the OP checks the OIL and there's evidence of coolant contamination.... but if it's from checking the radiator... those things can get pretty nasty. And honestly are pretty cheap to replace.

I'm sorry, I didn't notice you are the OP.
I think there is a thread around here somewhere which details which heads are interchangeable. I think it should be a sticky, but I couldn't find it.
You might be able to figure it out from the motor interchangeability sticky.
To atone for giving you a hard time, I checked out Clearwater's site. What I see there looks like it won't work. I looked up a 99 head, and this is what they say about it:
Then I looked up a 96, and they don't even list Cherokees for that year.
But others may know for sure.
