Default 1999 XJ injector type?

So someone told me I probably have "Jetronic/Minitimer", but I think that is EV1 right? I am looking at the plug and it only has a tab on one side. I'm looking at a chart of the different types of plugs and so many of them are so close I really am not 100% sure. The comparison charts I've seen so far don't show the other side of the plug, only the injector itself.

Is the only way to tell to pull the plug and look? I tried taking one of the plugs off but the red tab just broke because it was dry-rotted. I'm kind of afraid to try to pull another one and have the tab break again. What do I even search for to replace that red tab that broke? Is that even necessary?

I think what I am looking at is EV6 with the tab only on 1 side right? The tab faces me when I'm looking under the hood.

My '00 is EV6. I am guessing yours are too.
But please don't take my word for it.
Just throw away the red tab.
All mine got broken too with the 4 hole injector install.
They stay on tight without them.
Been running it like that for about 5 years now.
I think the red tab is more for assembly.
So connectors don't get pulled apart as the vehicle goes down the line.
I purchased my new 4 hole injectors locally.
When I walked out of the place with them I popped my hood, pulled a connector, and double checked that they were right in the parking lot. LOL.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are Ev6. Ah ok. Yeah, they didn't seem necessary but you never know. I'd rather risk sounding stupid by asking than assume I know and mess something up. I told my friend it broke and he said "good" and said he just breaks them off, lmao.

My OCD gets the better of me sometimes. And the fact that they got busted bugged me for awhile.
So I had another stupid idea. My neighbor has a 3D printer. Now he can't scan it to make a file but said he might be able to freehand it.
So I bought what I believe is the pigtail for the injector with the red clip in it. I played with it for a couple seconds trying to get it separated from the connector.
Looks like I am going to have to bust it out to do so.
So I am thinking I will do so at some point in time. Double check that it is the same one, and see what he can come up with.
Then will have to figure out if you can get it in the connector without breaking it.
Assuming he can actually make it.

These are the dumb ideas I come with. LOL.

Oh, I'm the same way. I'm extremely OCD with stuff like that.

My friend is getting a 3D printer and I'm stoked. I bought a XJ Rear Console Ashtray bracket off Shapeways that someone on this forum designed and installed two USB chargers in it so now I have 4 USB charging ports where the rear console ashtray used to be. That really inspired me. If I had a 3D printer this 4" cowl intake I'm working on right now would be a piece of cake. I thought the plastic for those printers would be brittle and easily breakable, but I swear when I was putting those rocker-style USB chargers into the mount it was so tight I just got really frustrated and *tried* to break it by forcing it in and it just snapped right in and is tight as hell. Whatever that plastic material is called it flexes a little bit but is *very* strong. I'm curious to know how it lasts in the sun.
