2.5l tbi help
ive got an 86 tbi xj and want to eliminate my charcoal canister along with all its vacuum hoses. i tried plugging the vacuum rails on back of engine but it created a very hi idle. how can i eliminate all this so the engine runs well. thanks in advance.

i would not remove it. You're going to totally **** your EGR system, and you will not pass emissions.

i would try and get it back in operation, it's necessary for the engine to run correctly. Pick up a solenoid at your local JY
If you are set on eliminating it, here's a diagram to help you figure out what hoses to keep and which to plug. Definitely keep the ones going to the egr valve and the map sensor.
