so i have a 2.8 in my 85 it will idle fine until it warms up and then idles rough if i put it in gear it dies almost every time if anyone has any idea of what it could be let me know i have changed fuel filter and checked spark plugs

 

Cracked vacuum line or something to do with carburation. Carburetors can be a real pain in the ***.

Is the choke opening once the engine reaches operating temp?

 

yes choke is opening all the way after warm up i think im just gunna fill up the tank and get some injector cleaner and throw some of that in it and see what happens
