Yup, front xj shaft that i got from a dude over in JF for $50. He already had it painted so it looked pretty.

The sye kit is pretty easy to do. You can do it under the vehicle or remove the t-case and do it on a work bench. I did it under the vehicle because i could not get all the tcase bolts out due to the exhaust blocking them. You just need a bunch of sockets, socket wrench, BIG snap ring pliers, rtv, and fluid. I forget what size the yoke nuts are. I think 1 1/8 or something. There are write-ups all over the web on it.

Thanks, I have them pics saved to desktop.

BTW: I'm liking the e-brake cable routing. If I need to redo my ebrake cables, I now know there is an upgrade.

How do your brake lines look after the lift? Are they still a sufficient length and all?

Front line mounts can be moved.
The rear...

Had to unbolt the breather/brake block from the axle tube.
Picked up the block and threaded the breather back in then ran the brreather tube thru the hole in the block.
Strictly temporary. PA state inspection requires the lines to be fastened tightly.

Looking into getting the (I believe it is) the TJ brake line--its longer.

The rear leaf springs I put in are sweet. TOO SWEET. Supposedly 3" lift...looks more like 5" even after driving it around to "set" everything

I think it's 1995 YJ lines. I dunno about tj's. Dodge dakota lines are even longer than the 3" longer yj lines.

Well good news. The digital camera has been diagnosed. Not dead. Battery crapped out..literally. Gave me a screen for 3 sec. then went black.
Fresh battery and we are good to go.

BUT....
Pics will have to wait until daylight.

And it appears this is no longer a 2" BB, but more like a 3" lift.
It is officially named "Lil Red" even though its far from lil but hey, at least it's red.

I will be creating a new thread in the Builds section..no need to move this one as like I said, Its no longer a 2" BB
My 94 Sport is no longer 2" higher and as for the budget...
Everyone knows its gone, but nobody knows where I buried the body.

As far as todays work:
Installed the front SensaTrac Shocks (they shorted me on an upper bushing pack) Gives me a reason to get a set of polys.
Also, I slipped in another stock coil spring insulator to give the front "a little bit more" so it evens out better.

Next on the schedule: Make 1 more set of 3/8" stainless steel spacers for the TC drop. Bringing the new measurement to 1 1/4". I still feel drivetrain vibes. If I can feel them, the XJ can feel them.

Gotta start working on patching the rear floor. Its swiss cheese. ANd won't pass state inspection. Besides, I need to fix the holes I put there for the rear shock install.

Right now, time to do some research (a.k.a. shopping)

As for e-brake cables I have heard that the same YJ right sided cables will lengthen the cables by nearly a foot and are a bolt in. Can anyone confirm that?

I need longer ebrake lines badly...Question on those...can I take those springs off that keep them up in place?

I am planning on getting different springs for mine.
Removing them appears like the cables themselves can flop around causing premature failure

Do you have springs instead of brackets to hold yours on OKC? Or are you refering to the spring like material that is covering the cable sheath?

I'll take pics on the morning but I am talking about the springs that help hold the lines snug to the under belly...

I wish my crossmember didn't use 2 studs cause then a 1/2 lowering kits would be so much easier...I can't afford an SYE atm..I don't have serious vibes but do have some..May end up with one of rusty's 1" lowering crossmembers...
