I have a 1995 2-door Jeep Cherokee, and the manual window is stuck half-way up. It's the regulator, but I'm having trouble locating a replacement. E-bay has some, but they're expensive and used. Any suggestions or insight, I would greatly appreciate. It's in Apache Junction, and having the window up in this heat greatly assists the air conditioning.

 

Question- Did the regular break (hear a noise, feel a clunk), or does it just feel like its jammed?

It's going to be hard to find a manual regulator for a 2 door. Try some of the local junkyards and pick and pulls. Get them while you can.

Also, it may be time to take the door apart and see if you can get the window to slide up in the closed position, and just leave it there, since winter is on its way anyway.

 

Post a pic. Maybe it can be fixed. Also, try an ebay seller search for macsusedcars0, and deadjeeps. 2 door parts dont pop up much, but its worth a shot. Look for 'advanced search' just to the right of the search box.
