I have a 89 2dr with vented rear windows that Im going to build a trail rig only. but no one seems to need the rear glass and I dont want to ruin it. The jeep is in Mt. Juilet, TN

my 2 door xj
i have a 96 2 door xj stock right now. a am looking at putting a lift kit on it.. i am going to be doing very little rock krawling with it, it is my daily driver. wat size lift do i have to put on to fit 35x12.50 with 15 inch rims.. i dont mind back spacing or bumpstopping and i will be ok with trimming the fenders to an extent.

I agree that the 2 dr looks meaner (when lifted)! I have an 89 2dr 5" lift & 31x11.5 ltb swampers its just my toy not a DD!

I had a 1992 cherokee 2dr, 5spd and loved it, my current one is a 98 4dr auto. just missed a 98 2dr 5spd (my brother got it) it looks good....oh well i got the 242 tcase and all of the power options & tow pakage, and mine was a $1000 cheaper!

got a 97 black 2door i would not trade it for a 4door any day. i like the look better and it's kinda cool watching some people freak out seeing a 2 door.

I just got a 00' 2-dr xj (145000mi) about a month ago for $2100 and i love it. Its definantly a step up from the 95 geo prizm i was drivin. Yeah, it sucks for people getting in the back, but for us tall folk the bigger doors on the 2-dr really come in handy.
