iv got a 89 4.0l 5 speed 2 door. but iv always wondered is there a story on the little fin window on the back windows. iv never seen another 2door cherokee around with it but mine?

I use to have a 93 two door and I hated it, i made sure to look for a four door when i bought my 98(DD)

but i gotta admit that it does look better when lifted

oh i want those windows so bad..they are rare on a 2 door but ive seen a 97+ around here with them too

I have an 88 2dr with no motor and no tranny and I am trying to sell it for 150 bucks and the interior is great for the year and cant even get that for it in Las Vegas. lol O and did I mention it has a fully welded roll cage and still cant get rid of it. lol

The Jeep I owned was a 2-door, always wanted to half-door it on my side only....I loved that thing......I'm gunna have to buy another one next year.

Picked up my 91 2dr 2yrs ago for $500. Had 109k then. About 120k on it now.I quit keepin tack of how much $ I had in it when it got over $3500.No rear window vents on mine. Wish I had them.Gets hotter than u know what on the trails in the summer. My girlfriends 96 has them tho.One odd thing-my drivers side door vent window is functional,but the pass side wasn't. Broke the pass side door glass this past summer-very hard time finding one!

if you think 2 dr's are rare you would cry about the way i beat the blank out of my body, my theory with cherokees, is get the parts wheel it till it is unreconizable and swap the parts to another, eventually i will get tired of that and do frame stiffiners and exo-cage, but for now i just wheel.

Sorry to bump this thread. I was searching Google for the rarity of my Cherokee.

My Cherokee is a black, 2dr, 5spd. 4.0L, with all options (overhead console, fogs, power everything, even alloy wheels).

My boss' boyfriend hounds me to sell it to him because he's an avid Jeep enthusiast who can't find a 2dr, 5spd in good condition and low miles anywhere.

I have a '90 2dr with an ax-15, vented side windows, moon roof and 4.0 and i only paid $600

I would kill for that thing. No moon roof or vents = one very hot driver.

My 90 is a 2 door. Very utilitarian. No bells and whistles. No Carpet,just vinyl flooring throughout. No power anything except brakes and Steering,and A/C.

Even though the 2 and 4 door are EXACTLY the same wheelbase,for some reason,to me, my 2 door looks short. I sometimes picture a Dodge Raider or Bronco II out of the corner of my eye when I see mine.

so im new to the jeep world. I bought a 95' 2 door xj (automatic) for $1200 today. its got a 6" lift with 33 bfg's -in suprisingly good shape. its got normal wear and tear, and 207k on the odometer. i6 runs a little rich, and someone decided to tear out the carpet and headliner. it has a couple rust holes in the floor board, and is missing some interior trim. 4wd works awesome!
did i get a good deal? what kind of engine/trans. swaps can i do? where can i look for some parts?

i own a 96 2 door with a 2.5l and a 5 speed, and i love it except for the fact its a 2.5l, im plannin oin doin a 4.6l strocer swap here in about a year, but mines the only one ive seen in about 6 months, and i only paid $1400 for it, needed some work but nothing major

i got my 2 door from my great grandpa FREE! he wasnt sure what was wrong with it but it had a bad leek. turned out it was just a ripped trans cooler line. then $3500 into it
