Default 2 inch lift

hello guys well i have saved up enough money finaly to mod my xj. i was looking at the 2inch shackle and spacer lift from fat bobs. they sell one kit with new shocks and one with out. my quastion is can i do the lift and still keep the stock shocks ?

Yes, I have a two inch lift and left the stock shocks on. The question should be.... what are you going to change your nickname to... you wont be stock any more!

you have a good point ill have to change that after the change!! has any one used fat bobs lift kit ? pros cons?

2" lift u won't need shocks, but if ur stock ones are crap then it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace them.

ive been soaking it with pb for weeks knowing i will be getting a kit soon but yea if they r still seized noting a grinder with a cut off disc wont handle

I got a fat bobs kit. The shackles are really well made and the pucks are as good as any. No complaints.

I had to cut a bolt off with a dremel and cutting wheel. Do yourself a favor and get a breaker bar. I think your lug wrench fits the bolts so you could try that if you dont have a breaker bar. It will take a lot of effort but they will break loose.
