2" lift
I am still trying to find a Quality 2 inch lift kit. I have been told that new coil and lift springs are the way to go. This is a DD and I don't want to make a lot of other changes that is why I only want a 2 inch lift. I can only find add a leafs and spacers. Any ideas, Thanks

I would just go with the 2" spacers (pucks). It's gonna give you the lift you want and you'll keep the soft stock ride. Lift springs are usually a bit stiffer than stock. Plus spacers are WAY cheaper!!

The one that my buddy and me put on mine before I bought it from him uses the 2" coil spacers and longer shackles in the rear. Has been good so far. Came with new shocks too. Dont remember who made it though. I know he bought it through Quadratec though. It rides no worse than it did stock.

yeah definetaly do the spacers and shackles. no sense in waisting your money on new coil springs and leafs for 2", that is unless you plan to go bigger in the future

I gained 2" in back replacing my flat stock leafs with Heavy Duty Crowns Leafs that are sold as stock replacements from JC Whitney... well worth it. Pain to change out though.. had to cut and cook the front leaf bolts from above...

I did a quick search and found a page with JCWhitney discount codes.
http://www.couponcabin.com/coupons/jc-whitney/
A 3" Rough Country lift with shocks came to 244$ shipped, with one of the 30$ off codes I tried. Not a bad price, considering it includes shocks and shipping!

Nope. I think they were Skyjacker and I took them off yesterday along with my rear sway bar. I lost about 2" in the rear, but it rides sooo much better. It still has the lift shackles and I'm probably just gonna throw 2" blocks on it.

If you DO plan to go bigger later on, go to the junkyard and get some S10, Jimmy/Blazer leaf packs for the rear. Just use the main leaf added to your stock pack as an add a leaf (will give you anywhere from 2-3") and you'll still have extra leaves to added later on for more lift whenever you're ready. Cheap and effective.
This is what I did and now I have 3" over stock in the back and still have two leaves left which I estimate could easily give me another inch and a half when I decide to go bigger later.
......and I don't find the extra leaf makes the ride any rougher.
