The 2 plastic things on top of the Valve cover
How important are they? I tried to take them out yesterday to clean them and they both broke.(had no idea what i was doing)
Engine seems to idle better though
Should I be worried or just wait till i find some at the j/y?
Thanks
Rich

Its probably your PCV valve. You want to replace those as soon as possible. It affects the vacuum, if your jeep seems to idle better, your valve may have been stopped up and needed a new one anyways. You might aswell go to the parts tore and get a new one, junkyard ones will probably be brittle and break anyways.

More than likely its a CCV and NOT a PCV (most of our Jeeps have CCV and not PCV). Call around, they arent too hard to find, nor are they too expensive.

All the other online sites dont even show a ccv valve?
Guess I will have to drive around and take a look

HOWEVER - that is ONLY the rear. Since the system is a CCV system it uses an orifice in the rear elbow instead of an actual valve.
The front is JUST an elbow and is dealer only. What I ended up doing was getting 2 of the Dormans and pulled the orifice restrictor out of one of them and used that in the front. It is a bit tough to grab but it is only snapped in.
