OK . I'm not home with my tools and shop manual .My front bumper and a tree got together right over where the lines from the OEM auxiliary oil cooler that's in front of everything else go between the edge of the bumper and the body. I don't have the tools to take the bumper off. The lines are not leaking but if I had to guess from what I can see may be pinched shut.
so the question:
How is that cooler plumbed into the trans cooling path? Is it in series with the cooler in the radiator so if they are pinched shut there's no flow or it a bypass arrangement?
Telling me to just look dummy won't be too helpful as between the caved in bumper and lack of enough tools I can't see.
I'm trying figure out if I can drive it 40 miles home without frying the transmission....or leave it here to fix later
