2000 cherokee cluster issue
Hello there, I have a 2000 cherokee sport inline 6 4.0l engine. I have a whistle that is very liud in the cabin behind the cluster, so to diagnose my issue I took my cluster out. Couldnt see anything behind there so put it back together and now the jeep runs poorly unless I am going 50 mph+. Any advice on either problem is welcome! Thank you in advance!

Take it back out and put it back in.

This will be an interesting answer, if someone has it. Very curious to know if anything in the cluster affects the drivability.
Are there any vacuum lines on the back of the cluster?

at least none on 97+. It's just a connector and plug n play

I can't see how your issue has anything to do with the instrument cluster. I too have a 2000, and just so happened to have my cluster apart last weekend to replace the bulbs. There is nothing in there that could have cause the Jeep to run poorly now.
