2000 Cherokee stalls and gauges ticking

2000 Cherokee stalls and gauges ticking
Hello everyone!
Last week I replaced my cracked 0331 head with one from Clearwater Cylinder Heads, and I replaced my alternator because my old one locked up.
It will idle for about 5 minutes and then it will stall, also the gauges are ticking, they will jump down to 0 and shoot right back up to where they were. My oil gauge also stays all the way up at 80 psi, I'm thinking this could be the oil pressure sending unit.
Let me know what you all think.
