2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic Issues

2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic Issues
161k miles. Recently cleaned injectors, replaced spark plugs, TPS Sensor, cleaned throttle body, new air filter. No check engine light and no codes.
Issues explained:
-Just replaced TPS and cleaned my IAC due to jeep idling high occasionally and revving at stop sometimes with an almost electrical "whirring" or grinding noise. Still occurs sometimes.
-Battery dies very quickly, I'll likely be replacing that.
-Jeep will start fine but sometimes after driving then restarting jeep will start but roughly and I'm not getting any power/ can't move until I hit the pedal a few times or wait a few seconds. This has only happened a couple of times.
-Starts with low power the first few minutes. Like its bogged down right at first but once I get going it's fine.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

The "driving and restarting" issue is documented in a Jeep service bulletin. The number three fuel injector gets hot from the exhaust manifold and vapor locks. It will often activate the Check Engine light and throw a "Cylinder 3 Misfire" code. The fix was to install an insulated cover around the fuel injector. As I understand it, sometimes this worked and sometimes it didn't.
For the battery, take it to a chain auto parts store. They can test it for free. If your battery is bad, it can cause all kinds of crazy issues. Definitely get that squared away before you continue troubleshooting.

I actually have the sleeve to put on the injector. I bought it but then cleaned my injectors and it seemed to be ok but it still does it occasionally. I'll go ahead and throw that on and replace the battery and report back. The battery actually has a lot of build up on it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not an idiotic question at all. Number 1 is at the front. Count up as you go toward the firewall with number 6 at the very back. So, number 3 is third from the front.

On '96 and earlier models, that is usually caused by a vacuum leak. I'm not sure how '97 and later does it. The blend doors may be totally electrical.
Somebody will chime in and tell you.
