Default 2000 xj 4.0l, 90000 miles. Ignition trouble

Set for 5 years. I saved her, resurrected her. Swapped cables with 1/0, radiator, brakes, fuel pump with a tank clean out line and fuel rail flush. Ran like a top for 30 - 40 miles. Started to miss barely made it the 3 miles home. Did some testing. Found bad gas from the station. Drained tank flushed lines again. Fresh fuel and some dry gas. Symptoms continue to get worse. Pull coil packs. Test for spark, pull plugs all 6 are wet. Figured weak spark change coil packs and fresh plugs. Gapped at 35. No change. Tested and swapped cam sensor, no change, pulled injectors... Had new 12 holes on my shelf so I swapped them in after rinsing the fuel rail again. No change. It'll start have to play with the pedal a little hits on maybe 4 cly will not idle. Pulled cat to verify not plugged no change. Recheck fuel pressure staedy at 50 psi. Flow check with bypass gauge good flow no air in fuel. No lights or codes through out any of this. I'm stumped and parts changing isn't my thing. Need it Sunday for an event at the local off road park. Don't want to be a passenger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You haven't done anything with the throttle body/IAC (idle air control)?

Haven't touched a thing. Before I started having issues. Unplugged them to move harness when I put injectors in after the issue started. I was literally setting in idling when it started to miss.

I'd give them a cleaning then. Five years is a long time to sit plus not knowing if anything had been done before that. Won't cost a thing except for a can of cleaner and a bit of your time.

I already have the cleaner I'll get a gasket and try that. I'm wondering about the timing chain. If it was to get rusty... While setting premature wear could possibly be an issue. Without a distributor I can't check it with a timing light.

So wait. You got no spark? Check the crank sensor.

I've got spark. I'm checking how strong tonight. It runs like it's 180* out of time. Misses and hits stumbles and struggles won't run unless your on the gas won't start unless your on the pedal. The crank sensor was replaced after the issue started. No change.

Update: verified 5v at sensors. Checked spark bright blue and snappy. Pulled the plugs did a compression test with a new tester. #1 came it at ZERO. The rest are at 150. Off comes the valve cover in the morning. I did do a pressure test on the cooling system. Held 15 psi for over a half an hour. Not sure yet but I'm thinking a stuck intake valve. Don't have a leak down tester or I'd already know.

Found a broken intake valve spring on #1 cylinder. Checked piston with bore scope looks good got lucky there. Spring will be here this after noon. Fingers crossed that'll be the end of this thread.

Changed spring and reset installed height. Compression test came back spot on. Assembled and running again just in time to load up and put it to work.
I wanted to extend a sincere thank you to those of you that took the time to post suggestions or guidance.
