First thing I would do is to confirm/deny that is is not the evap purge solenoid that sits over by the A/C cowl. Your ticking sounds faster, but changing to the cool air intake may have caused the evap purge solenoid some issues.
Do a search for "evap purge solenoid clicking" if that is where the sound is coming from.

How is the oil pressure?
Does the tick increase in frequency when the engine is rev'd?
You might want to stethoscope to localize the tick area?
Based on the video only, seems like the tick is loudest at the valve cover, could be a lifter.

The oil pressure seemed normal. I'm new to jeeps so when I got it I noticed the oil pressure would drop at idle and then go up to about the 40 mark on the gauge with normal driving. That normal?
Is the lifter sticking? Any way to fix it?
I didn't drive it at all with that noise. Didn't want to cause any more damage. Would driving it help?
Also the oil level was in the good zone.

Well, if you have a stuck lifter it should be pretty obvious after pulling off the valve cover. The push rod and rocker would be looser than the others. I'd double check your oil to make sure their is no evidence of coolant mixing with the oil.
Some folks have had luck with Marvel Mystery Oil added after changing the oil to unstick the lifter. If you are running a 10W oil maybe consider a 5W oil. If the Jeep is new to you then the PO may not have maintained it very well and sludge has built up over the years with the lifters being pretty susceptible to that.

Dude, thanks so much for all your help.
Doesn't seem to be any mixture in the oil. It needs to be changed soon but no coolant. The video seems like it's not to difficult to do. So I think I'm gonna attempt it. Is there any danger in driving the vehicle like that?

don't forget about blackstone labs. They can analyze your oil for 28 bucks and tell EXACTLY what it is comprised of. I would suggest it on your next oil change. You can get them to send you a kit for free and they bill you when you send them your sample. Good luck man!

That's a good question. I've done them on Ford 4.9 inline 6s, but the holes that the rods feed through need to be big enough for the lifters to come up through. Much like in the video.
If you pull the valve cover and determine that it is a lifter and that the head needs to be removed to change them out then I would go the least invasive route first. That is change the oil with 5W-30 and add in a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil, and see if the lifter will unstick itself after a few miles or so. Usually takes a little bit of time before it goes away.
Hopefully someone will chime in that has done this without pulling the head off.
