Well - say what you like - but driving from Northern Mass, to a half hour south of Baltimore, Maryland, on a single tank rocked. I just wish I could do that again.
And not that it makes any difference, I had the digital overhead console that confirmed every mile per gallon.
It's good to know, though, that 18 highway is normal. (Why else would I create this post, right?)

Yeah the majority of my driving consists of highway driving. I normally get 15-17mpg on 30 inch tires.

I've got the overhead console that tells me my fuel mileage. Over the last 4,000 miles I've averaged 21mpg. Mine is somewhat high because my commute is 16 miles. The first 13 miles only has 1 stop light and very light traffic. Then I get into the city, and the mileage goes from 27mpg to 15mpg.

So I guess if somebody is lucky enough to have a commute that has no stop lights and no hills, they can get 27mpg.

The last time I got gas, I had driven slightly over 300 miles and had 1/4 tank left.

19 mpg, up from average of 17 with a new exhaust. Mine's pretty stock. I change the plugs once/year regardless of mileage (usually out of boredom), use Sea Foam if I happen to notice a dip in MPG and religiously replace a quart of oil with Slick50 at every change. Dunno if I'm lucky or good, but she hits the same lick at 150k as she did when she was a baby.
