2001 Cherokee Sport lube points
Earlier this week we took the Jeep in for a cleaning inside and out, engine pressure wash and lube job - $16.50 USD.
Today we took the Jeep in for an inspection of the underbelly. They pulled the wheels, checked the shocks, suspension and brakes. They generally sand down the discs (?). $6.00 USD.
When they had the front wheels off they showed us how the guy who greased the car was really sloppy. There was grease all over the front break pads. It looked like there were greasing 'nipples' right there but I guess the guy over did it a bit.
So my question (s) - does our 2001 Cherokee Sport have greasing nipples and if so how many are there and where are they ?

Grease fittings, also known as zerks, are typically found on tie rods, balljoints and u-joints. Driveshafts and trackbars can have them as well. Depending on the brand you can find them on control arm bushings front and rear, as well.

There's really no set amount because components come in both serviceable and non-serviceable versions.
As said tie rod ends, ball joints, u-joints, and driveshaft slip joints are common (and typical to OEM). Some aftermarket track bars and control arms will also have them, along with leaf springs and shackle bushings.

Yea. That's why I just learned to do it myself. Also, grease nipples sounds raunchy as all hell and sounds like a phrase you'd hear the Trailer Park Boys tossing around.
