Default 2001 oil filter adapter bolt

Just trying to find out what bolt my 01 has. I've been reading and it seems that different Jeeps have different bolts. 97-01 all have either torx or Allen. I am going to be changing O-rings next oil change. I have the T60 from when I did my WJ.

Would like to hear from owners of '01's who have changed their's and what bolt did you have. Unless anyone knows a definite if certain years used one and not the other or if they were random or what.

If its a bolt, just use a wrench to find the size.

Lol. But I was trying to do it the lazy way. I don't have a clue where my mirror is. Maybe I'll just stick my finger in there or try using my borescope.

I still would like to know who has which. I read where someone with a 2000 had the Allen bolt and a 98 that had the torx. My WJ was a 2002 and it had the torx. I'm curious now to see how consistent or random they were.

I'll go out there tonight and check all of mine I guess.

I was poking around under my '99 XJ and mine has a big *** torx bolt.
