2001 Shifting at 3500 rpm

2001 Shifting at 3500 rpm
I Just bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Automatic. Noticed it shifts fine until going into 3rd..It dont shift into 3rd untill 3500 rpm. Also have a header exhaust leak could that cause this? What could be cause my jeep to shift at 3500 rpm?

daddycat is right on with this one. I'm the one that posted TPS information in the linked thread above.
Throttle position sensor is a primary suspect. It is directly involved with the shifting characteristics of the AW4 transmission.
